Who we are

Ask anyone in his family, and they will tell you that Eric has always been an entrepreneur and has a head for money. In elementary school, he was the banker of a classroom program. He helped his classmates pay for extra recess time, buy candy, or exchange services. The bank later expanded to become a currency exchange between classrooms.

Even though the days of the classroom banking have long passed, Eric used that experience to guide his further career. He worked up the corporate ladder to become a Vice President of Global Consumer and Small Business Banking at Bank of America. Eric was relocated to Connecticut to manage a group of eight branches and 40 direct-report employees.

​

His day-to-day had become less fulfilling as his distance from one-on-one client relationships became further.

​

Eric took the leap and opened his own financial advice practice in 2008 and has never looked back at the corporate design of financial products. His commitment to build long-term relationships in order to improve outcomes through advice is a passion that Eric deepens through his ongoing education and experience.

Eric is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. CFP® professionals have met extensive training and experience requirements, and commit to CFP Board’s ethical standards that require them to put their clients’ interests first.

Outside The Office

 

Eric, an Eagle Scout himself, serves as Scoutmaster for Troop 85 in Wethersfield, CT. The program focuses on providing youth an opportunity to develop character through outdoor adventures. They camp throughout the year, and as a group, have travelled to Maine for whitewater rafting and national history and civics lessons in Washington D.C.

On weekends, if he’s not camping, you can find Eric at the Wethersfield Cove, sailing his RC Star sailboat. Growing up, his high school summers were spent teaching sailing with adult guests at Boothbay Harbor area resort in Maine. He also had a brief stint of racing for two seasons in the Midwinter Regatta series hosted by the Corinthian Yacht Club in the San Francisco Bay Area.
